Kiev (brand)
Kiev ( Russian Киев ) is a brand of film-based cameras and lenses from the Ukrainian manufacturer Arsenal .
The production location is the eponymous Ukrainian capital Kiev . The production of the fully mechanical SLR medium format cameras Kiev 60 TTL and Kiev 88 CM as well as the lenses was discontinued in 2010. When new, they were among the most affordable models in this performance class.
Models

Medium format cameras
- Kiev 6C: Medium format camera for 120 roll film with P6 bayonet , predecessor of Kiev 60,
- Kiev 60 TTL: Medium format camera for 120 roll film with P6 bayonet
- Kiev 80: ( medium format camera )

- Kiev 88 CM / CM TTL: advanced medium format camera for 120 roll film , based on the 88, with P6 bayonet )
- Kiev 90 : medium format camera , tw. with P6 bayonet
The first models are based on the Pentacon Six , but no direct copies. Since the " P6 " bayonet lock of the Pentacon Six is used, all lenses for the Pentacon Six can also be used on the corresponding Kiev cameras.
Due to the interesting technology of the medium format models Kiev 60 and Kiev 88 / CM, their low base price and the poor quality assurance from Arsenal, a lively "tuner" scene has formed around these cameras, whose small companies check the mechanics, rework and provide services and modifications to the Offer cameras (cloth closures, mirror lock-up , P6 bayonets , anti-reflective coatings, conversion to Hasselblad compatibility, painting, leather covering).
