history

Originally the kikoi was a garment worn by men and women on the East African coast, which was traditionally worn as a skirt tied on special occasions. His patterns and writings showed social rules, competition and sexuality, the everyday struggle for survival or religion. In contrast to earlier times, the traditional cotton fabric, which can also be sold well in Western countries thanks to its diverse, colorful design, is now also used to make hats, bed throws, carpets and curtains.
