Kim Mi-yeon (born October 20, 1979 ) is a South Korean curler . She plays in the position of skip .
Kim led the South Korean national team to victory in the 2001 Pacific Championship . This was the first time a South Korean team qualified for a World Curling Championship , but the team in Bismarck did not win.
Kim then represented her nation five more times at the Pacific Championships and always won a medal.
Kim also skipped the South Korean team at the 2009 World Cup in his own country. The team proved to be a worthy host, won three times and was only marginally defeated by the top teams.
