Children's and youth theater Chapeau Claque

The children's and youth theater Chapeau Claque is a German children's theater in Bamberg . It is a cultural award winner from both the city and the Free State of Bavaria and was also awarded at the Bavarian Theater Days.

The Chapeau Claque has existed since 1990 and operates as a registered association with its theater projects. There is an in-house stage in Bamberg's Grafensteinstrasse, but it is also staged in striking outdoor venues (Altenburg, Michelsberg Monastery, Hain, etc.). There are also mobile educational offers such as school workshops or the “Spielmobil”. Since 2006 the theater has supported the umbrella brand Umweltbildung Bayern .
