Children's flame

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The children's flame is proof of training in the form of a badge for members of the children's fire brigade in Germany and is divided into two, three or four levels. The framework conditions partly differ in the various federal states.

Appearance and wearing style

The children's flame consists of three (sometimes only two) or four different badges of the same shape with different lettering and design. The badges have the shape of small flames, round or square badges, depending on the state. In Saxony-Anhalt, for example, the badge is an octagonal badge on which the levels are differentiated by the number “KüBolde” ( acronym from belspritze and Ko bold ). The badge can be provided with the name of the state . In Hesse the award is called "paw".

The acquisition of the individual levels of the children's flame is confirmed in writing. The badge is worn on the left breast pocket.
