Cinema Days Beirut 2006 ( Arabic أيام بيروت السينمائية, Ayam Beirut al-Cinemaiya; English Cinema Days of Beirut ) is the name of the 2006 film festival that has been taking place in the Lebanese capital Beirut since 2001 .

Cancellation was expected after the outbreak of the Lebanon War on July 12, but the organizers stuck to the host as a way of expressing their opposition to the war.

Originally more than 100 films were to be shown, but the hostilities had made it necessary to streamline the program to 40 films. The focus was on films about the Arab world. The film Falavel by Lebanese director Michel Kammoun had its world premiere as part of the festival, which took place from September 16 to 23, 2006.

The festival director was Hania Mroue and the artistic director was the filmmaker Eliane Raheb .
