The Church of George the Victorious ( Bulgarian Свети Георги Победоносец Sweti Georgi Pobedonosez ) of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church in the eastern Bulgarian port city of Sozopol is dedicated to Saint George .

The church is located at 36 Apolonia Street in the old town of Sosospol. The three-aisled building with adjoining bell tower was built in 1860 in the immediate vicinity of the old basilica of the city monastery of St. John. At the beginning of the 1990s, the medieval metropolitan basilica of the monastery of St. John in the old town was uncovered and preserved. During investigations of the Georgskirche, a late antique predecessor building from around 330 was located.

The Georgskirche has several icons from the second half of the 19th century. Furthermore, parts of the cross of Christ and relics of the apostle Andrew are kept, who according to reports of the church fathers was the first to proclaim Christianity in the region. While the former was a gift from the ecumenical patriarch Bartholomew I , the latter came from a find in the Sweti Joan Prodrome monastery .
