The Church of EDASA lies in the Swedish municipality of Skövde about 20 kilometers south of the town Skövde .

The towerless church dates from the 12th century and was extended to the east in 1763 with a three-sided choir. After the parishes of Edåsa and Ljunghem were merged in the first half of the 19th century and a new church was built, the medieval church was abandoned in 1873. It was then bought by a private person and given to the Västergötland Antiquities Association , which used the church as a museum for church art. In 1930 the parish bought back the church and restored it. In 1938 the church was consecrated again. The free-standing bell tower also dates from this year.
