Church entry point

A church entry point is an offer of information for entering or re-entering the church .

The Evangelical Church in Berlin started with three advice centers. The Catholic Church soon followed suit with a corresponding information offer on the Internet. In the meantime, the Protestant Church maintains other church entry points in Aachen, Cologne, Mönchengladbach, Hamburg and Saarbrücken and many other cities and communities.

"Church entry point" is a collective term for "church entry point" and "re-entry point". Church entry points are mostly visited by former church members, but also by people who are, for example, B. were born in the GDR and were not baptized, so never were a church member. Those who re-enter the Church after leaving are not baptized again ; those who want to enter for the first time will be baptized to enter after one or more interviews.

There is also the possibility of re-entering the church or of new entry in every parish.
