Parish of Sendenhorst
Parish Sendenhorst was until 1967 a municipality in the district of Beckum in the Region of Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia . The community was one of the “parish communities” typical of Münsterland , which comprised the rural area around an urban church.

The parish parish Sendenhorst encompassed the city of Sendenhorst in a ring . It included the farming communities Elmenhorst, Hardt, Jönsthövel, Brock, Sandfort, Bracht and Rinkhöven.
history
The parish parish Sendenhorst belonged to the Vorhelm office until 1955 and then to the Sendenhorst office in the Beckum district until 1967 . On January 1, 1968, the community was incorporated into the city of Sendenhorst.
