Parish Stadtlohn
Parish Stadtlohn was a short-lived community in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Ahaus from 1964 to 1969 . The former municipality is now part of the town of Stadtlohn in the Borken district .
geography
The parish parish Stadtlohn surrounded the city of Stadtlohn in a ring. Due to its composition of several old farmers , it was predominantly agricultural. It had an area of 72.5 km².
history
The community was founded on August 1, 1964 through the merger of the five communities Almsick , Estern-Büren , Hengeler-Wendfeld , Hundewick and Wessendorf . Since 1844, the Stadtlohn office had been composed of these communities . On July 1, 1969, the parish Stadtlohn was incorporated into the town of Stadtlohn by the law on the reorganization of communities in the district of Ahaus .
