Kitewing

A Kitewing is a reduced hang glider , which as a sail for dirtsurfing , mountainboarding , Inline Skating - Ski and - skate driving can be used. The kitewings are currently (August 2006) between 3.8 and 5.5 m².

For driving on the flat with a kite wing, wind speeds of 3 m / s on ice and 5 m / s on snow are required. Speeds of 70 to 100 km / h can be achieved. If kitewing is used in conjunction with alpine skiing, smaller flights of up to 290 m can be achieved. On the flat land, jumps of 5 m high and up to 40 m wide can be made.
