Kjeungskjær fyr is a lighthouse off the Norwegian coast on a small archipelago off Ørland , Trøndelag .
The 21 meter high tower was built in 1880, raised in 1906 and has not been inhabited since 1987. Today it is a listed building and is located in a sea bird sanctuary. It is the only octagonal lighthouse in Norway.
The beacon is in operation every year from July 21st to May 21st and is only out of operation in late spring or early summer due to the midnight sun .
