Using a staple remover

A staple remover (also Enttackerer , staple remover , staple remover , staple remover , sometimes jest also law, spider monkey, monkey tooth, witch crocodile ) is a tool for removing staples from paper or wood.

The staple remover is designed so that a staple can be removed in a single operation. To do this, place the staple remover on the closed side and guide the four tips under the staple. Due to the special shape of the tips, the staple is opened and can be pulled off without removing it.

Larger staplers sometimes have an integrated staple remover.

In medicine, clip removers are used for wound clips. These skin staple removers are used to remove the surgical staples that were used to close the skin of wounds . As a rule, these are disposable materials packaged in a sterile manner today. Sterilizable metal staple removers are rarely used today.
