Fidelity

With fidelity the ability of a perfect electro-acoustic transfer system, is known to be able to reproduce the recorded sound so that between original and reproduction , there is no audible difference.

The terms “fidelity to the original”, “fidelity to reproduction” and “perfect reproduction” are used synonymously for the term “fidelity”. The term “ high fidelity ” or “Hi-Fi” for short describes the same situation in the home sound system sector, which covers a wide range in terms of quality.

In the past, the term “sound fidelity” has always been used to describe the latest technological developments, so it is not seen as absolute.
