Pick

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Klauben is a separation process for solid mixtures. Here, features that otherwise cannot be used for a separation, such as the color , are measured for each component and the components are then sorted individually.

Clearing takes place, for example, by workers sorting out ores from mining or sorting waste .

Thanks to new sensor-based techniques with computer processing and sorting using compressed air blasts or ejectors, automated peeling is also possible. Automated picking takes place, for example, when processing old glass . The previously crushed broken glass from the containers is optically recorded and sorted according to its color ( color sorter ). Other sensors separate in other spectral ranges, e.g. B. in the infrared or ultraviolet range or with the help of X-ray spectra.
