Klaus-Bernd Kreutz (born March 6, 1957 in Zeppenfeld , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German entrepreneur and former motocross and enduro driver.

Career

Kreutz began his motorsport career in enduro sports at the age of 18 and became German junior champion in the class up to 500 cm³ in 1976. This was followed by three German championship titles (1978, 1980, 1982) in the class up to 175 cm³, as well as two German vice championships in 1979 and 1982 in the class up to 125 cm³. At the international level, Kreutz was world champion in the 54th International Six-Day Race in 1979 with the Zündapp factory team and vice-world champion with the trophy team (German national team). He also achieved three European championship titles (1980, 1981, 1982) up to 175 cm³. In 1978 he became vice European champion up to 100 cm³ and 1979 to 175 cm³. In 1981, Federal President Karl Carstens honored Klaus-Bernd Kreutz with the silver laurel leaf for his sporting achievements .

At the end of his professional career, Kreutz founded a travel agency and the company "Motorsport Traveling (MST)" in 1987, which subsequently developed into a group of companies. In October 2008, several of the companies filed for insolvency at the Siegen local court.

Kreutz uses his connections to the racing scene to realize the annual Motorsport Traveling Charity Gala at the Nürburgring . This event takes place at the same time as the Formula 1 race on the Eifel route. Over the past five years, around 100,000 euros in donations have been collected for aid projects.
