Klaus Bartels (* 1943 in Breslau ) is a German specialist in German .

Life

From 1983 to 2008 he taught as a professor (§ 17 HmbHG) for modern German literature at the University of Hamburg .

His main research interests are the history of cultural sign systems, literature and media, media science, theory and analysis in the field of digital media and the history of artificial memory, memory and information theater.
