Klaus Blaschke

Klaus Blaschke (* 1937 ) is a German lawyer with a doctorate who was President of the North Elbe Church Office in Kiel from 1984 to 2002 . He was a lecturer for the “Introduction to Protestant and Catholic Canon Law ” at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and honorary professor for canon law and state church law at the Faculty of Law at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel .

Professional background

Blaschke devoted himself to studying law and passed the first state examination in law. In 1969 he wrote his dissertation at the University of Kiel and then passed the second state examination in law.

After years of work as a legal employee of the Schleswig-Holstein regional church and budget head of the North Elbian Church , he became President of the North Elbian Church Office in 1984. For a time he was also the church office president of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mecklenburg in Schwerin. In 2002 he retired.

Blaschke is a permanent contributor to the journal for Protestant church law .

“The 21st 'Dies Theologicus' held a special honor for the former President of the Regional Church Office, Professor Klaus Blaschke, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday and is still involved in what is happening in the faculty through teaching assignments in canon law and as chairman of the Friends' Association of Theological Faculty 'STOA' involved. "
