Microbrewery

A microbrewery is the name given to different types of brewery according to the production volume.

Depending on the system, the following assignments exist:

  • Brewery to 5,000 hectoliters annual production, including micro brewery , see also microbrewery
  • Brewery up to 50,000 hl of beer as a counterpart to large breweries with over 1 million hl annual production
