Little Prussian
The Kleiner Preuße lighthouse was built in 1906 on the dike of the Wremer Granatkutterhafen as a cross- brand light . It got its name because of its small size and its black and white paint. In 1930 it was dismantled after having been painted red and white for a few years.
A replica of the Little Prussia has been standing on the quay protection dike at the end of the Wremer harbor since April 2005 and is looked after by the home district of Wremen. The replica has developed into a tourist attraction. During the season, the tower is open and can be climbed when the weather is good, and weddings can also be held there.
