Cleopatra (wife of Gessius Florus)
Cleopatra was the wife of the Roman procurator of Judea , Gessius Florus .
Cleopatra was a friend of Poppäa Sabina , the second wife of the Roman emperor Nero . She used this relationship to secure the office of Procurator of Judea for her husband. When Gessius Florus went to the province assigned to him in AD 64, Cleopatra joined him. Nothing is known about their further fate.
