The Itzehoe Clinic is a hospital in Itzehoe . It is one of the largest hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein and an academic teaching hospital of the Christian-Albrechts- University of Kiel , the University of Lübeck and the University of Hamburg . With more than 2,100 employees, including more than 200 trainees, the company is the largest employer in the Steinburg district. It is a member of the Schleswig-Holstein hospital association 6K. The clinic is supported by a special purpose association of the Steinburg district and the city of Itzehoe.
