Rudolf Irmisch

Heinrich Ludwig Rudolf Irmisch (born September 8, 1894 near Eisenach ; † January 25, 1976 in Itzehoe ) was a German teacher and local researcher .

Irmisch was a teacher in Ratzeburg and Itzehoe and from July 1, 1952 until shortly before his death in 1976 honorary director of the Itzehoer Stadtarchiv (since 1985: Joint archive of the Steinburg district and the town of Itzehoe). In addition to his most famous work, The History of the City of Itzehoe , he published other monographs and articles.
