Journal of the Society for Schleswig-Holstein History
The journal of the Society for Schleswig-Holstein History (abbreviated ZSHG ) is a specialist journal for historical studies founded in 1870 , which is dedicated to current research on the history of Schleswig-Holstein and neighboring regions. The magazine has an extensive review section that reviews current state and regional history publications. Detlev Kraack has published the magazine since 2006 .
history
The first four volumes up to 1873 were published by the Schleswig-Holstein-Lauenburg Society for Patriotic History under the title Journal of the Society for the History of the Duchies of Schleswig, Holstein and Lauenburg . The following 23 volumes were published by the renamed Society for Schleswig-Holstein-Lauenburg History under the title Journal of the Society for Schleswig-Holstein-Lauenburg History . With the 28th volume in 1898, the Society for Schleswig-Holstein History published the magazine under the current title. It appears annually, up to volume 139 (2014) by Wachholtz Verlag , with volume 140 (2015) by Matthiesen Verlag .
The journal's editors were Volquart Pauls (volume 68–74 / 75, 1940–1951), Olaf Klose (volume 76–101, 1952–1976), Wolfgang Prange (volume 102 / 103–115, 1977 / 78–1990), Manfred Jessen-Klingenberg (volume 116-120, 1991-1995), Jürgen Hartwig (volume 121, 1996), Henning Unverhau (volume 124-130, 1999-2005), Detlev Kraack (from volume 131, 2006).
