The Steinburger Jahrbuch is an annual collection of articles on various topics relating to the Steinburg district .
The yearbook has been published since 1956; since 1976 each band has had a central theme. It is published by the Heimatverband für die Kreis Steinburg e. V. The topics of the individual contributions are not specified, but contributions can be submitted by anyone by August 1st of each year, and the editors then decide on their inclusion. The yearbook appears in December of the previous year (the “Steinburger Yearbook 2011” with the main theme “The sturgeon in the Steinburg district” was published in December 2010).
