In 1991 it finally succeeded in acquiring a former church property at the current location for the now eight nuns and a novice. The sisters decided to practice organic farming. A large building was built to store the wine in a modern industrial architecture and the courtyard was expanded. The monastery was supported by a group of supporters, Friends of Solan . This now has 250 members.
