Klubrádió is a Hungarian radio broadcaster . The talk and news channel, as Klubrádió calls itself, is considered Hungary's “only opposition broadcaster”. In April 1999 Klubrádió went on air for the first time. In 2010, the right-wing conservative government Viktor Orbán created the State Media and Communications Authority (NMHH) with the Media Act, which has the licensing and tried several times to withdraw the transmission frequency from the club radio operators. Due to various court orders and international pressure, the station received permanent approval in 2013.
