The Klukkufoss is a waterfall on the peninsula Snæfellsnes in west Iceland .
geography
It is about 40 meters high. What The waterfall, surrounded by basalt columns, is about 8.5 km south of Hellissandur and at the foot of the Hreggnasi .
The waterfall flows in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Breiðafjörður fjord . The water that feeds from Snæfellsjökull is very turbid due to its sediment load .
