Club trap

A club trap (also called a beating trap) is used to catch predatory game on the Fallensteig . A top made of a stick is weighted down with stones. When the predatory game tries to take the bait out of the trap, the top part falls and kills instantly.

The scissor trap also belongs to the club traps .

According to German hunting law , these types of traps are prohibited today.
