Bang batch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Knallcharge is a derogatory term for an actor in a crude, comical and exaggerated role . In a figurative sense, the term is used derogatory for someone who makes a big fool of himself. The term was originally not used negatively, as it mainly referred to a small role or character of a stage actor in the tabloid theater , who brings a surprising turn in the plot of a drama (read: a comedy ) with a "bang" .

The word component " bang " comes from the Middle High German "knellen" for "sound, echo, crash". It is also used for mental confusion ("bang head", "have a bang", "have a crush", "bright yellow", "bang effect" etc.).

Since the 17th century, a “ charge ” (from the French synonym : charge) has been an office, rank or military rank, at the theater also a secondary role or used for role subjects in general.
