The medical association for preventive medicine and classic naturopathic methods Kneippärztebund eV (founded in 1894 as the International Association of Kneipp Doctors ) is an association of predominantly German doctors who specialize in naturopathy . It is named after Sebastian Kneipp and is based in Bad Wörishofen , the formerly small village of Wörishofen, where Kneipp lived and worked from 1855.

The association, known under Alfred Baumgarten (1862–1924), Kneipp's closest medical assistant, and Adolf Scholz describes itself as a service provider and professional advisor in establishing and implementing quality assurance standards in the field of preventive medicine and traditional naturopathic treatments . He is dedicated to research, teaching and quality assurance in the field of traditional European natural healing methods. The association publishes the membership magazine "Kneipparzt" and organizes the annual Bad Wörishofener Naturopathy Symposia (2008: approx. 100 participants).
