The men's fragrance Knize Ten

Knize Ten is marketed by the manufacturer as the first men's fragrance series in the world. Knize Ten consists of a leather note with rosemary , orange , bergamot , cedar , sandalwood and amber .

history

It was created in the 1920s by François Coty and Vincent Roubert for Vienna's leading men's outfitter Kniže & Comp. (say "Knische" with a soft "sch"). It was named after the highest standard in polo . The rights lay with the Paris branch of Kniže. However, when it closed in 1972, the rights were transferred to the headquarters in Vienna.

Knize Ten users are said to have included James Dean and David Niven, as well as director Billy Wilder .
