The Knob Lake (English for Hügelsee ) is the average of the three lakes in the Three Lakes Valley of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the lake on December 20, 1974 after a rock mound formed by glacier activity, which is a small island at the southern end of the lake.
