As Knysna Heads the harbor entrance of the port of is Knysna referred. The entrance is lined by two sandstone cliffs and leads from the Indian Ocean into the Knysna lagoon . The Royal Navy once called the driveway the most dangerous driveway in the world.

From the heads you have a view over the entire lagoon and the surf of the Indian Ocean.
