The Kukeldash - Madrasah in Tashkent is a listed monument and was in the 1570s during the reign of Abdullah II. , Built under his vizier Kukeldash to which it owes its name. Indian construction workers built the building. Since it was damaged by several earthquakes, the reconstruction of the building began in 1977.

The main entrance is 19.7 m high. The door leads to the courtyard. The courtyard is surrounded by a two-storey student dormitory, which consists of 38 spartan rooms ("hidschr"), each 2 by 2 m in area. The individual student apartment consists of two parts: the room and the "Ayvan" (the niche for the entrance). Two to three students lived in such a student apartment.
