Kochi Nawrus ( Tajik Кохи Наврӯз 'Palace Nawrus' ) is a palace complex in the Tajik capital Dushanbe .

investment

Originally planned as a huge tea house , the facility was created to reflect the arts and crafts of Tajikistan. The center of the facility are twelve halls, all of which are designed differently, with local artists and craftsmen playing a decisive role. Paintings in the Persian style, carvings, precious stones from all over Tajikistan and Tajik symbols can be found in the great halls of the palace. There are also banquet halls, a lunge, two VIP rooms and a bowling alley.

The central building is surrounded by gardens with pavilions and water systems. There are also numerous murals of national heroes and Tajik poets.

use

The facility is open to the public and is a popular tourist attraction in the city. The facility is also used for diplomatic purposes. For example, a summit of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization took place in Kochi Nawrus in 2014 .
