Koh Rong (also: Kaôh Rōng ) is the second largest island in Cambodia . It is located in the Gulf of Thailand about 15 km south of the coast of Koh Kong province and about 25 km west of the city of Sihanoukville . The island has an area of about 78 km² and is about 15 km long and up to 9 km wide. There are four villages on Koh Rong: Koh Tuich, Dam Dkeuw, Prek Svay and Soksan.
