Koiluoto ( Russian Койлуото ) is a divided island on the northern edge of the Gulf of Finland . The area of the approximately 200 meter long island has been divided between Finland ( Virolahti municipality ) and the Soviet Union or Russia (Selesnjowskoje) since 1945 .
