Koinos (gem cutters)
Koinos ( Greek Κοίνος ) was a Greek gem cutter who worked in the first half of the 2nd century BC. Was active.
Koinos is known from a signature on a sardonyx , on which a hunter is depicted with a lance. The current whereabouts of the stone are unknown. Other stones with his signature turned out to be forgeries.
