Koinos (Satrap)
Koinos (ancient Greek Κοίνος , Latin Coenus ) was a Macedonian satrap of the Persian province of Susia.
He was born in 325 BC. Chr. Entrusted by Alexander the Great with the governorship in Susa and the surrounding area. In 320 BC The general Antigenes was installed in the same province at the conference of Triparadeisos . Koinos was not mentioned, so that it remains unclear whether he had previously died or was deposed by the victorious Diadochs of the first Diadoch war because of a possible following at Perdiccas .
