Kokedama

Kokedama ( Japanese 苔 玉 , dt. " Moss ball") is a ball of moss on which an ornamental plant grows. The plant idea comes from Japan , where it is very common and popular.

Manufacturing

Kokedamas be the bonsai of poor people called. They are produced by a ball of moist akadama (red loam ) and keto ( black peat ) is formed. The plant is placed in this, and the moss on top. The structure is fixed with aluminum wire. They need to be watered regularly.
