The Kokkola KO-04 Super Upstart was a light gyroplane made by the Finnish manufacturer Kokkola .

History and construction

In 1968 the brothers, Kaveli and Seppo Kokkola designed and built the KO-04 gyroplane. The KO-04 was designed as a single-seat light gyroplane that flew for the first time on December 12, 1968. The machine was equipped with an Agusta MV GA 40 two-cylinder boxer engine and a top speed of approx. 100 km / h could be achieved.

Today the only model is on display in the Finnish Aviation Museum.
