Finnish Aviation Museum

The Finnish Aviation Museum ( Finnish: Suomen ilmailumuseo ) shows the development of aviation in Finland . The museum is located near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport in the city of Vantaa .
history
The museum opened its first exhibition in 1972 at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. The museum has been at its current location since 1981. The museum has been owned by Suomen Ilmailumuseosäätiö (Finnish Aviation Museum Foundation), which is also the operator, since 1996 .
Exhibits
The following aircraft and engines are just a selection from the exhibition of 7,000 objects. Many exhibits are still waiting in storage for restoration.
