The University of Novi Pazar ( Serbian: Универзитет у Новом Пазару / Univerzitet u Novom Pazaru) or International University of Novi Pazar (Internacionalni Univerzitet u Novom Pazaru; English International University of Novi Pazar) is a university in Novi Pazar . It was founded in 2002.
history
The university was founded in 2002 on the initiative of the then Prime Minister of Serbia Zoran Đinđić . In addition to the Republic of Serbia, another 200 donors took part. The university was organized as a Waqf , a foundation, based on the model of universities in Islamic states, which means that it is neither state nor private and as such is currently the only one in Southeastern Europe . The University of Novi Pazar was the first university in Serbia to accept the Bologna Declaration .
Faculties
There are six faculties:
- Faculty of Law in Novi Pazar
- Faculty of Humanistic Studies in Novi Pazar
- Faculty of Linguistics in Novi Pazar
- Faculty of Management and Economics in Novi Pazar
- Faculty of Information Technology in Novi Pazar
- Art Faculty in Novi Pazar
There are also departments in Belgrade , Niš , Subotica and Pančevo .
