As Colonial Youth Department (KJA), numerous designated revisionist youth groups of colonial and colonial forces clubs in 1924 and 1933rd

The starting point for the establishment of colonial youth departments was the first colonial congress after the World War, held in Berlin on September 17 and 18, 1924, at which a colonial youth committee was formed at the instigation of the Colonial Imperial Working Group (Korag). His aim was to introduce young people to the "colonial idea" and to demand the return of the former German colonial areas . The activities of the colonial youth departments included, for example, the organization of lectures by former members of the protection forces and colonists, shooting sports with air rifles as well as hikes and tent camps. The colonial youth departments were organized in regional associations together with similar youth groups and took part in youth meetings throughout the empire. In August 1933, the KJA members, as well as members of other colonial youth associations, were accepted into the Hitler Youth .
