Thierry Fortineau

Thierry Fortineau (born February 9, 1953 in Nantes , † February 8, 2006 in Paris ) was a French actor .

Thierry Fortineau played his first roles in television productions in the mid- 1970s . Since the late 1980s, he was seen more and more on the big screen. For the film Sommerkomödie ( Comédie d'été , 1989) he was nominated in 1990 for the César as best male young actor. Other significant roles were in Hellfire ( Le Brasier , 1991) and Escape through the clouds ( La fille de l'air , 1992). In 2003 he won the “Molière” theater award in the leading actor category for his appearance in Gros-Câlin .

Thierry Fortineau was married to the Dutch actress Maruschka Detmers . From this relationship comes a daughter, actress Jade Fortineau, born in 1991.
