Komalên Ciwan

Komalên Ciwan is the youth organization of the banned underground organization Workers' Party of Kurdistan ( PKK ). It emerged from TECAK in 2005 (Kurd .: Tevgera Ciwanên Azad a Kurdistanê , German “Movement of the Free Youth of Kurdistan”). The name "Komalên Ciwan" means "communities of youth".

The Komalên Ciwan mainly carry out attacks against Turkish institutions.

The Komalên Ciwan called on all Kurds living in Europe to "radical, democratic and legal resistance". Thereafter, several arson attacks were carried out against Turkish facilities in German cities. On March 21, 2007, members of the youth association carried out an attack against a Turkish association in Göppingen. Four detainees were sentenced to several years' imprisonment for attempted murder and attempted arson.

She openly calls on Kurdish youths to join the underground organization to expand the fight against Turkey and Iran. For example on July 11, 2009: "We as Kurdish youth have to sit in the front row in this fight." Komalen Ciwan members carried out several arson attacks against Turkish facilities in Germany in February 2010.
