compatibility
Compatibility (from Latin compatior "to have pity") is the opposite of incompatibility and denotes:
- In technology, the functioning of parts together, see compatibility (technology)
- in sound engineering, the positive assessment of a stereo signal in mono playback, see mono compatibility
- In linguistics, the matching of parts of sentences , connectivity
- in politics and law the possibility that a person overcomes the state separation of powers in their functions, see principle of incompatibility

- in medicine, the matching of blood group and blood substitute, see blood group
- in pharmacy, the proven absence of negative drug interactions, see drug interaction
