The Commandery Neuve court was a Coming of the Knights Templar and later the Johanniter north of Wavre ( Walloon Brabant ) in Belgium.

history

Between 1130 and 1139 gave Godfrey I the Knights Templar lands north of Wavre, who in 1183 another donation by Gottfried III. followed. This second gift from Gottfried is considered to be the founding date of the Neuve-Court Commandery and was made out of gratitude for the hospitality of the Templars in Benevento on his pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

After the suppression of the Knights Templar in 1312, the Commandery fell to the Johanniter.

At the beginning of the 16th century, the late Gothic Commandery Chapel , which is still preserved today, was built;
